WEDDINGS

The Ballroom feels more like a church with its ultra high ceilings and gothic arches with stained glass windows. The large chandeliers set the room off, and a true 'aisle' feel can be achieved here.

It seats up to 150 guests for the ceremony and is a favourite with Asian brides as the Ballroom has plenty of space for the Mundap for a traditional ceremony.

This impressive room is located on the first floor of the castle and so is not ideal for guests with limited disability - if this was the case we would recommend a Guard Room Ceremony and Steward's Restaurant for the wedding breakfast.

Ballroom Wedding Package
The bride and bridesmaids prepare and dress in the most regal surroundings of the King's Rooms - a suite of 3 stunning rooms and a bathroom.

The guests are invited to arrive up to an hour before the ceremony for coffee and soft drinks in the Guard Room, before taking their seats in the Ballroom. The Bride has a short walk from the King's Rooms through the Picture Gallery before walking down the aisle of the Ballroom.

Following the civil ceremony in the Ballroom the drinks reception and canapés take place on the Guard Room, 40 Acre Landing or Rose Garden, if the weather is fine.

There is a choice of serving the wedding breakfast in either the State Dining Room or Steward's Restaurant.

For the evening reception dancing and entertainment is in the unique Old Kitchen with a bar and seating in the Old Servant's Hall.
