FISHING ON THE BELVOIR LAKES
The fishery is made up of two waters; a 12 acre lake known as the Lower Lakes and a small lake which is ¼ of an acre.
The waters are typical estate lakes - shallow and silty with a variety of features for the angler to fish to including islands, streambeds, fallen trees and waterfalls.
The venue is managed as a mixed fishery containing carp to 33lbs, bream to 14lbs, perch to 4lbs, pike to 25lbs, roach to 2lbs and tench to 8lbs.
At present the Lower Lake contains up to 400 carp to 33lbs with the average weight being mid to upper doubles. The fish are young stock and are growing well this year we have had a good number of twenties and mid twenties out. The Lake has a number of strains of carp including scaly fish.
Day Tickets - adults £7.00 for one rod and £10.00 for two rods. Concessions £5.00 for one rod and £7.00 for two rods.
The Night Syndicate - alimited number of anglers have access to the fishery on a 24 hour basis. Membership for the syndicate is £300.00 per year.

Site Specific Rules
Anglers can use a maximum of three rods. Bait boats are permitted. Some events held in the Castle grounds each year affect the angling - information regarding these is posted on the Belvoir Fisheries notice boards.
