Civil Ceremonies

The Castle is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies in both the Guardroom and Ballroom.

The Guardroom, traditionally the grand entrance to the Castle, has high ceilings and open fires on either side. The walls are adorned with a fine display of military treasures providing an impressive setting for your civil ceremony. Read more...

Religious Ceremonies

The intimate Rutland Family Chapel, situated within the Castle, plays host to Church of England ceremonies and wedding blessings. The Duke's private Chaplain will assist you with planning your ceremony and is happy to recommend local choirs and organists to add to the ambience of your wedding day.
