Opening Hours

Opening Dates and Times 2012:

We will be open on the following Sundays and Mondays between May and August .

May 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 27th & 28th

June 3rd, 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th, 17th & 18th

July 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 19th, 23rd, 29th & 30th

August 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th

Please note: Entry to the Castle is by guided tour for day visitors at: 11.15am, 1.15pm and 3.15pm . Please allow/usually 15 minutes to walk from the ticket office to the castle where the tour begins.

Gardens are open: 11.00am - 5.00pm.

The Castle and Gardens will be closed on all other dates - we recommend that you telephone us in advance on 01476 871002 if you are travelling from a long distance.
