COUNTRY SPORTS: RURAL PURSUITS
Country sport holidays at Belvoir castle Country sport holiday at Belvoir castle Country sport holiday at Belvoir castle Country sport holiday

With the Castle occupying a commanding position with breathtaking views across the Vale of Belvoir, it provides a dramatic backdrop for the Rural Pursuits Centre.

Regardless of your purpose be it rewarding a sales team, a product launch or thanking a loyal client an excellent day out is what you will experience. Visitors to the Castle for a half-day or day of activities arrive at the Castle for a welcome cup of coffee and bacon roll prior to moving to the activity area. Throughout the day visitors are based in our thatched hospitality centre adjacent to the activity area.

Our centre is run in conjunction with Everyman Motor Racing who have 15 years experience in tailoring corporate packages. A range of driving and rural pursuits are available at the Castle including off road driving, hovercraft, helicopter flying, carriage driving, quad bikes, performance car driving, falconry & clay shooting to mention but a few of the options.

The events arranged for visitors vary according to budget and objective. A typical day is as follows:
09.00 to 09.30 - Coffee & Bacon Rolls at the Castle
10.00 - Transport by minibus to the Events Area
10.15 - Events start:

  • 4x4 Landrover Endurance Course
  • Quad Bikes
  • Hovercraft
  • Sheep, Duck & Dog Events
  • Performance Car Driving
12.30 to 1.30 - Lunch at the Castle
1.45 - Events Continue
4.30 - Prize Giving
