A Magnificent Castle to Explore
Castle Visit Castle Visit

Inside the castle are many notable collections, from the military treasures in the guardroom to the stunning staterooms with their impressive period art, tapestries, furniture and sculpture.

In contrast to the grandeur of the State Rooms, the Old Kitchen and Bakery will fuel your imagination of ‘below the stairs’ life in 1825. Our School Room and Nursery are well equipped for children to experience lessons and play in Regency times.

Costumed Guides and Tours
Our guides are often in costume and are more than happy to answer your questions and explain the history of the castle. On selected weekends they will perform ‘historical cameos’ such as the trial of the Belvoir Witches.

Guided tours are free and available during the weekdays at 12.30pm and 2.30pm or for groups at pre-booked times to suit.
