Whilst the castle is first and foremost a family home, the Duke and Duchess are pleased to welcome overnight guests to the castle on special occasions. For wedding guests and private parties, there are 14 bedrooms available to hire with a minimum occupancy of 5 bedrooms.
The Duchess of Rutland has personally added her interior designers touch to ensure each of the rooms are unique and hold historical significance to the Castle. A sample of three rooms at the castle…
A room with panoramic views over Belvoir Lakes – a double room with private shower room. This is one of the most spacious rooms in the castle. Given it’s name due to the magnificent tapestries on the wall from the early 17th Century. The wonderful bed in this room was created for the filming of ‘Young Victoria’ a movie about the young Queen Victoria, played by the actress Emily Blunt.
Originally part of a suite of three rooms, taking their name from the Chinese wall decorations adorning the walls. These rooms were originally used by family members and visiting dignitaries and reflect the best of Regency taste. Both rooms have stunning views of the local countryside, and on a clear day you can see Lincoln Cathedral in the distance.
