Croxton Shoot

Belvoir offers the finest pheasant, partridge and duck reared on the estate.

Over 60 established drives suitable for all levels of experience.  No two drives are the same, with different locations, and topography – the natural instinct of the birds makes each and every drive a new challenge.

We use the same drives for both Belvoir and Croxton; their use depends on the day itself, the weather, experience of guns and bag targets.

Welcome to Croxton Lodge.  The lodge nestles in remote parkland with superb views over its own lakes.  It’s luxurious interior has been sensitively decorated by the Duchess of Rutland to create a warm, friendly atmosphere that entirely compliments Belvoir Castle’s reputation as a first-class shoot experience.

Whether a day shoot or a stay of a few days, the Belvoir team will deliver the warmest welcome and hospitality to you and your guests.  Within the backdrop of the Lodge, enjoy fine wines, roaring fires and top quality local ingredients cooked by our in-house chef – all these elements will make your day with us one to remember.

If you would like to have a shoot party and stay with us here at the Lodge, there are 8 fabulous bedrooms to choose from, all furnished to a very high standard. All bedrooms are en-suite and every detail is attended to for your stay.
