English Civil War Weekend

Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th July

Belvoir is preparing for war, Troops are being raised and drilled for the King. Pikemen and Musketeers are put through their paces by their Officers as drums beat and flags are flourished.  In the encampment of the soldiers, food is prepared and weapons cleaned.  However Parliamentarian troops are advancing on the Castle and there may be trouble afoot!

12.00 Children’s Have a Go Drill: Cannonade Lawn Arena
1.00 Soldier’s Meal: Cannonade Lawn
2.00 Cavalry Display at Skirmish Field
2.30 Infantry Skirmish at Skirmish Field
3.30 Drill Display: Cannonade Lawn Arena
4.00 Children’s Have a Go Drill: Cannonade Lawn Arena
