1067 and all that.. Fighting Knights and rollicking tunes! Meet the founder of Belvoir Castle, Robert De Todeni – Standard Bearer of William the Conqueror – and his Household of Knights and Men at Arms as they demonstrate the weapons and tactics that won a Kingdom!
Visit the Living History Camps and see authentic crafts and food. With children’s have a go activities. Listen to our Medieval Minstrels as they perform music of the period and join in have a go dancing for all the family.
Join us for a special event at Belvoir Castle as we celebrate the legacy of Robert de Todeni. Robert was an influential norman nobleman who played a significant role in the early history of Belvoir Castle, building the first wooden fortress and founding the nearby priory of St. Mary de Belvoir.
His contributions helped shape the region and set the stage for centuries of growth and prosperity. Come and learn more about this fascinating figure and explore the castle he helped create. We look forward to seeing you there!
