Arranging a Wedding Breakfast
Your Wedding Breakfast can be served in the State Dining Room (which seats up to 120 guests) or the Lakeside Marquee (ideal for larger groups).
You can expect the highest quality dining experience. Our talented chefs use only the best locally sourced ingredients to create innovative, seasonal menus tailored to your preference.
It’s your opportunity to choose a menu that perfectly reflects your taste – and there’s no better occasion to insist on having all your favourites!
Prefer savoury to sweet? Had you thought about having a selection of French and British cheeses with some chutneys and bread instead of traditional cake?
Raise your glasses!
We make it easy to raise a toast to the happy couple. Stocking a creative selection of wines guaranteed to appeal to all palates, you’ll be able to choose exactly what’s right for you.
While champagne is always a favourite, the Castle’s Sommelier would be delighted to discuss your celebratory wine – whether you prefer light, easy drinking wines or something a little heavier.
When the moment comes to cut the cake, you’ll be able to do this with style and impact, using the Duke’s ceremonial sword.
Having enjoyed the stately rooms for the formal part of your day, dusk brings a chance to go downstairs and continue your celebrations until midnight in the Medieval Kitchen or relax in the Old Servants Hall which has its own bar (but no butler…!).
Our priority is your happiness – and to make sure that you have a memorable day in stunning surroundings with delicious food and drink.
