Craft Store Manager

 

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new craft store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in retail management. As the Craft Store Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management: Recruit, supervise and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets. Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, place orders for stock replenishment, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and maximize sales opportunities.

Visual Merchandising: Create visually appealing displays to showcase products and attract customers. Ensure that the store layout is optimized for easy navigation and product visibility.

Customer Service: Foster a welcoming and helpful environment for customers. Address customer enquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure that customer needs are met promptly and professionally.

Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies to drive revenue growth. Plan and execute promotional events, workshops, and other initiatives to drive turnover.

Financial Management: Monitor store expenses, analyse sales data, and prepare regular reports on store performance. Identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures where possible. Managing and accounting for all money-handling procedures.

Events: Host regular crafting events and demonstrations, where crafters can connect, share ideas, and inspire each other.

Requirements:

Previous experience in retail management, preferably in a craft or hobby store environment.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Knowledge of inventory management best practices.

Familiarity with craft products and techniques is highly desirable.

Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

 Hospitality Team Member

Job Description:

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated hospitality team at Belvoir Castle. If you have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you. As a member of our hospitality team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have memorable and enjoyable experiences during their visit to Belvoir Castle.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

Welcome guests warmly and assist with inquiries to enhance their experience.
Provide attentive and personalised service to meet guest needs and preferences.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to deliver seamless service.
Support team members in daily operations to maintain high service standards.

Event Support:

Assist in setting up and organising events, ensuring all guest requirements are met.
Participate in hosting and guiding guests during events and special occasions.
Housekeeping:

Sales and Promotion:

Promote castle attractions, events, and services to guests.
Assist in selling merchandise and promoting special offers to drive revenue.

Requirements:

Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
