For general FAQs please visit here. The below questions are specific for Christmas 2023.

Can I get a refund or exchange?

Tickets are non-refundable however ticket dates and times can be changed by contacting SeeTickets.

Do I have to book tickets in advance?

For Christmas it is highly recommended to book in advance to secure your tickets. 

Should I arrive in advance of my time slot?

The ticket office will open at 9:00am everyday during our Twelve Days of Christmas event. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your timed entry slot, allowing enough time to park, check-in at the ticket office and walk up the steep hill from the Main Car Park to the Castle.

 

Can I bring my under 4 to see Santa?

Under 4’s tickets to the Twelve Days of Christmas are free and can go in with other paying children to see Santa. However only paying children receive presents from Santa. If you would like a gift for your under 4, please purchase a Santa’s Grotto ticket for them. 

How long does it take to go round the Twelve Days of Christmas event?

We recommend that the free-flow tour around the castle will take 60 – 90 minutes. You can spend the whole day wandering the gardens! 

What does my Twelve Days of Christmas ticket include?

Your admission ticket includes entrance into the Castle, Gardens and Adventure Playground (AP depending on weather). Add on’s that are available include Festive Afternoon Tea and Santa’s Grotto.

Audience with Santa includes entrance to the Castle, Gardens and Adventure Playground from 9.30 -11am.

What food and drink will be available during Christmas?

This Christmas, there will food and drink available from Vale View Cafe located in the Ticket Office car park. The Aviary Tearoom in the Castle will serve only pre-booked Festive Afternoon Tea. We will offer lunch and refreshments in the Old Servants Hall. Our Outdoor Chalets will also be serving hot food and drinks on weekends and holidays.

Do you have to pay for car parking?

Yes. A full day pass must be purchased when booking online for £5 all day. 

Membership options FOB, RHS & HHA

Friends of Belvoir Annual Pass holders get free access to the event. However, they will still need to book their visit online.

There are upgrade options for both RHS & HHA this Christmas. For HHA members it’s £8 and for RHS it’s £10 – please book online. 

What time does the castle closed?

The castle will close at 5pm, with the last entry slot at 3.30pm.
