We’re celebrating the 70th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth II in true Belvoir Castle style by bringing the Best of British together for a weekend of family fun.
On 4th & 5th June, we’ll be hanging the bunting and filling the teapots for a street party extravaganza combining the highlights of the Coronation era with exciting entertainment for all ages.
A street party celebration like no other
Our musicians are sure to get your feet tapping along as they channel the sounds of the 1950s with a range of vibrant live music.
Enjoy dazzling shows from our street performers, marvel at our jousting knights and explore a selection of hand-picked British stalls for a spot of shopping. We’ll also be pulling out all the stops with our magnificent classic car and falconry shows, as well as offering a variety of tasty food and drink so you can enjoy a picnic in the spectacular grounds of Belvoir Castle.
Fun for all the family
Whether you’re learning about the Royal Family for the first time or looking forward to enjoying a trip down memory lane, we’ve made sure there’s something to keep visitors of all ages happy at our Platinum Jubilee Celebration.
With everything from hands-on activities in our creative craft area to a classic Punch and Judy show, you’ll find plenty of family-friendly entertainment on offer. Our historical re-enactments are a great way for children to learn about the past, offering an immersive experience that will light up their imaginations and create memories to last a lifetime.

While joining us for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations, you can also enjoy a visit to the Engine Yard for a spot of lunch and shopping.
Browse our boutique stores and pick up something special for your home, garden or wardrobe, or purchase a gift for that special someone. Head to Cocoa Amore Chocolatiers for delectable treats, browse stylish clothes, accessories and homewares at The Duchess Gallery, or let the little ones select a toy from Crafts 4 Kids.
Make sure to stop off at The Fuel Tank Kitchen to refuel after an exciting afternoon of retail therapy, or head to the Balloon Bar and share a refreshing cocktail with friends.

Our Platinum Jubilee Weekend is part of our Belvoir Revisited series, which brings different historical periods to life across the summer for plenty of family-friendly fun and education.
Want to experience more of vintage Britain? Turn the clock back with our 1940s Weekend on 28th & 29th May. We’ll be transforming into the Belvoir Castle of wartime-era Britain with all the highlights of 1940s culture, from lively music to rich stories of its pivotal influence on British history.
